SENIOR SEASON (2016): Made eight appearances in goal with six starts...posted a 6-1 record with one shutout...stopped 19 shots and recorded a 1.44 goals-against average for the season
JUNIOR SEASON (2015): Saw action in three games ... Earned the start in net and picked up his first career w in at Hartwick ... Was credited with six stops to post a 1-0 shutout, the first of his career.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014): Did not see any game action.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2013): Did not see any game action.
BEFORE VERMONT: Venezia, a goalkeeper, is a native of Tolland, Conn. and came to UVM from Loomis Chaffee ... He spent his first three years playing at Tolland High School and led the Eagles to a CCC East Championship and the Class M State title in 2009 .... He was a three-time CCC East All-Conference selection and was named to the Class M All-State team twice. Venezia owns the Tolland school record for most shutouts in a season, posting 13 in 2009 ... At Loomis Chaffee, he earned a spot on the WNEPSA and NEPSA All-Star Teams in 2012.
