AS A 5th YEAR SENIOR (2011): Played in all 17 games and earned 13 starts ... Finished the year leading the team in scoring with 17 points on three goals and 11 assists ... Set a new UVM single-season school record with 11 helpers ... Finished the year with eight points in the final three games of the year ... Recorded five points with a goal and three assists in a 4-1 victory over UMBC ... Scored the game-winning goal in the season opening victory over CEntral Connecticut ... Named to the America East All-Conference Second Team ... Was named the America East Player of the Game and also named to the College Soccer News Team of the Week on Oct. 31.

AS A SENIOR (2010): Saw action in all 19 games ... Started eight ... Scored in UVM's season-opening win over No. 13 Stanford ... Also added a goal in a 2-2 tie at UMass ... Finished the year with two goals and two assists ... Ranked third on the team in scoring.

AS A JUNIOR (2009): Appeared in five games in his first season with Vermont starting four of them before being sidelined for the year with an injury ... Provided offensive power recording 15 shots in five games ... Transferred to Vermont after two seasons at Ulster County Community College.

BEFORE VERMONT: Graduated from Flushing High School in New York before attending Ulster County Community College ... Was named second team NSCAA/adidas Junior College Men's Division III All-American team.

PERSONAL: The son of Juan Peralta and Maria Sormanti.
