BEFORE UVM: Comes to Vermont after playing for Liverpool High School in his hometown … He finished his career with 165 points on 119 goals and 46 assists … As a senior captain he tallied 75 points (52G/23A) on his way to being named First Team All-Central New York and CNYCL All-League … He led his team in scoring in each of his last two seasons and also earned a spot on the Second Team All-CNY during his junior year.
PERSONAL: Is the son of David and Kelly Savlov … Has one older brother, Jason … Plans to major in physical education.
