SOPHOMORE OUTDOOR SEASON (2021): Opened the season with a ninth-place finish in the 5000m at UMass Lowell with a time of 15:37.02 (Mar. 26) ... Placed 13th in the 1500m at the Wildcat Invite (Apr. 3) ... Finished seventh in the 1500m at the UVM Quad Meet (Apr. 10) ... Was ninth in teh 1500m at the UNH Pre-Conference meet (Apr. 24) ... Finished 25th in the 5000m at the America East Championships (May 2) ... Was 12th in the 1500m at the Dartmouth Invite (May 7).
FRESHMAN INDOOR SEASON (2020): Made his debut with a 27th-place finish in the mile at the Dartmouth Relays (Jan. 10) ... Was 14th in the 3000m run at the Middlebury Winterfell (Jan. 18) ... Ran a leg on the thrid-place 4x400m relay team and finished 11th in the mile at UNH (Jan. 25) ... Was a member of the 10th-place DMR team at the NEICAAA Championshps (Feb. 1) ... Finished 12th in the 3000m run at the Dartmouth Invitational (Feb. 8).
BEFORE UVM: Came to UVM from Needham, Massachusetts…. Graduated from Needham High School in 2019… Participated in Cross Country, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track during his four years… He is a 4 time Bay State Conference All-Star and currently holds the second place record for the 5k for Needham High School history.
PERSONAL: Ben is the son of Michael and Ann Keegan who were both runners… has a twin brother, Henry, who swims for Seton Hall University… His major is currently undeclared and enjoys the TV show, Seinfeld.
