2012 OUTDOOR SEASON: Competed in three events in the long jump at the end of the season ... Posted an outdoor season-best mark of 6.49 meters at the UNH Wildcat Invitational to lead the Catamounts as he placed seventh overall ... Won the long jump competition at the Middlebury Invitational with a jump of 6.40 ... Was the top Vermont competitor in the event at the 2012 America East Outdoor Championships as he finished 12th with a mark of 6.33.

2012 INDOOR SEASON: Competed in five events ... Set a season-best mark in the long jump with a distance of 6.89 meters at the Joe Donahue Collegiate Games ... Cleared a height of 1.90 meters in the high jump in both of Vermont's home meets against Hartford and Middlebury ... Was second in the high jump against Middlebury and won the long jump with a mark of 6.58 meters.

2011 OUTDOOR SEASON: Set a career best in the high jump at the Middlebury Invitational (April 26) with a mark of 1.92m … At the 2011 America East Outdoor Track and Field Championships finished 10th in the high jump with a score of 1.83m … He finished 7th overall in the long jump with a mark of 6.90m … He was named All-New England finishing fifth overall at the 2011 Outdoor New England Track and Field Championships in the long jump … Ciabattoni set a career best with a mark of 7.11m.

2011 INDOOR SEASON: Set a career best in the triple jump at the 2011 New Balance Collegiate Invitational with a mark of 13.60m … At the 2011 America East Indoor Track and Field Championships finished seventh in the long jump with a mark of 6.64m … He also finished 13th in the triple jump with a score of 11.50m.

BEFORE VERMONT: Member of the track, football, and hockey teams at Holy Name High School … 2006-2009 All-State team for long jump and triple jump … In 2009, he placed third in triple jump and was the long jump state champion … Holds the school record for high jump and triple jump ... Was an All-State running back in football in 2009.

PERSONAL: Son of Frederick and Barbara Ciabattoni of Reading, Pa. ... Has three siblings: Eric, James, and Maria … Member of National Honor Society … Honor roll student in high school … Majoring in biochemisty.
