SOPHOMORE OUTDOOR SEASON (2019): Began the season with a 15th-place finish in 3000m steeplechase at UMass Lowell (Apr. 12) ... Took sixth place in the 3000m steeplechase at UMass (Apr. 6) ... Was runner-up in the 3000m steeplechase at New Hampshire (Apr. 27) ... Recorded a personal-best time of 9:48.69 in the 3000m steeplechase at the America East Championship (May 4).

SOPHOMORE INDOOR SEASON (2019): Registered a personal record in the mile with a time of 4:36.00 at Dartmouth (Dec. 8) ... Ran a personal-best 3000m time of 9:12.92 at New Hampshire (Jan. 26).

FRESHMAN OUTDOOR SEASON (2018): Finished fourth in the 3000m steeplechase at the Dartmouth Invitational (Apr. 13) ... Set his 1500 personal record (4:13.69) at the UMass Pre-Conference meet (Apr. 28) ... Recorded a personal best 10:00.66 in the 3000m steeplechase (May 6)

FRESHMAN INDOOR SEASON (2018): Finished ninth in the mile (4:42.95) at New Hampshire (Jan. 27) … Placed 15th in the 3,000m at the Gordon Kelly Invitational (Feb. 10) … Raced to 13th in the 3,000m at Dartmouth (Dec. 9).
 

BEFORE UVM: Came to UVM from Gilsum, New Hampshire … Ran cross country and track all four years and played basketball for his senior year at Monadnock Regional High School … His team won the division 3 state championship his senior year … he holds the school’s record in the two-mile. 
 

PERSONAL: Dawson is the son of George and Becky Adams … Chose UVM because it was a great fit and the team is awesome and friendly … majoring in biochemistry with a minor in pharmacology … His favorite sports team is the Patriots.
