JUNIOR INDOOR SEASON (2022): In the Dartmouth Indoor Season Opener, Bair placed first in the 400 with a time of 49.84s, second in the 200 with a time of 22.56s, and 2nd in the 60m with a time of 7.09s (Dec. 11) ... Was named America East Male Track Performer of the Week ... In the Middlebury Winter Classic, Bair scored first in the 200m with a time of 22.75s and sixth in the 60m with a time of 7.24s (Jan. 15) ... In the Middlebury Winterfell, he scored first with the 4x400 team, posting a time of 3:24.98, second in the 60m with a time of 7.20s, and fourth in the 60m with a time of 7.19s (Jan. 22) ... Scored first in the 400m with a time of 50.58s and first in the 200m with a time of 22.67s at the Middlebury Invitational (Jan. 29) ... He scored 6th in the 4x400 with a time of 3:19.23 and 19th in the 400m with a time of 49.79s at the Scarlet & White Invite (Feb. 5) ... SOPHOMORE OUTDOOR SEASON (2021): Made his debut in the 4x400m relay, with the Cats finishing third at UMass Lowell (Mar. 26) ... Ran on the winning 4x100m relay team at the Wildcat Invitational (Apr. 3) ... Was on the winning 4x100m relay team and finished second in the 100m at UMass (Apr. 18) ... Ran a personal-best 200m time of 22.46s in the preliminaries, and finished eighth in the finals at the America East Championships (May 1 & 2) ... Logged a time of 48.97s in the 400m at the Dartmouth Invitational for second place (May 7) ... Registered a personal-best 400m time of 48.68s for fifth-place at the New England Championships, and ran a leg on the third-place 4x400m relay team (May 14 & 15).
BEFORE VERMONT: From Buffalo, NY… Ran Track for Butler University in 2019 before transferring to Vermont… In high school competed in soccer, basketball, and lacrosse… Captain his soccer, basketball, and lacrosse teams.
PERSONAL: Son of John and Amy Bair… Has two siblings, Cecillia (UVM ’20) and Nathan (UVM ’27)… Majoring in Biology and minoring in Business… Chose UVM because of the beautiful scenery and incredible coaches… Lists Kobe Bryant as his biggest inspiration as an athlete… Lists inception as favorite movie, Maroon 5 as favorite band, and prime Derrick Rose as favorite athlete.
