2012 SEASON: Competed in five races ... Ran his best 8K time of the year at the New England Championships with a mark of 27:28 for 15th on the team ... Was 11th on the squad and 31st overall the following week at St. Michael's (27:01) ... Earned 29th place at the Vermont Invitational with his third sub 28-minute mark of the year (27:52).
BEFORE VERMONT: Spent one year at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec before coming to UVM ... Was a member of the cross country the track teams ... He was the third-ranked runner in cross country and finished third in the 4x800-meter relay at the 2012 RSEQ Championships ... Previously attended Kearsarge Regional High School in Sutton, N.H. ... Ran two years of indoor track and three years of outdoor track ... Also a four-year letterwinner in cross country, serving as a team captain ... Earned 2011 All-State honors in outdoor track ...
