2014: Repeated as the NCAA National Champion in the classic ... Gruber, who finished fourth in the 10K classic on the Soldier Hollow course at the 2014 U.S. Cross Country Championships in January, out distanced the field by nine seconds, crossing the finish line in a winning time of 13:38.40 ... Gruber is just the second Catamount to win back-to-back NCAA National Championships in the same discipline in Nordic skiing ... Helped lead Vermont to a second place finish at the NCAA Ski Championships in Park City, Utah ... Won five times on the EISA Circuit, four of the wins were in the classic discipline ... Won three of the first four races of the year ... Was the runner-up at the EISA Championships in the freestyle and was the EISA points leader in the classic.
2013: Competed in 11 races on the EISA Circuit and was named to UVM’s NCAA squad for the first time … In her first NCAA race, the classic, she finished first to win her first NCAA National Championship … She posted three other victories on the season, winning the freestyle at the season opening freestyle race at the St. Lawrence Carnival and posting wins in the classic race at the Colby and Dartmouth Carnivals … Appeared on the podium 10 times on the season … Was the runner-up in the freestyle at the EISA Championships and was fourth in the classic.
2012: Competed in 11 races on the EIDA Circuit … Posted nine top-10 finishes … in the season opener at Bates, finished fifth in the classic and 10th in the freestyle … Was in the top-10 in seven of her final eight races on the year … Added fifth-place finishes in the freestyle race at the UVM Carnival and the classic race at the Dartmouth Carnival.
2011: Joined the Catamounts in January at the start of the 2011 spring semester … Earned a 12th place finish in the 6k classic in her first collegiate carnival … Added a season-best third-place finish in the 10k classic at the Colby Carnival … Competed in eight races on the year.
BEFORE VERMONT: Was a member of the German National Team in 2009.
