GRADUATE SEASON (2025): McColgan competed in all six EISA Carnivals for Vermont and was part of the 2025 UVM Ski roster for the NCAA Championships. McColgan won her first career race during the Saint Micahel's Carnival, finishing in first during the 10k Skate. McColgan also won the 20k Freestyle Mass Start outright during the Dartmouth Carnival. McColgan was honored First Team All-American for winning silver during the NCAA Championships racing in the 7.5k Classic Individual Start. Overall, out of her 14 races, McColgan finished outside the top 12 just one time, securing 13 total top 12 finishes, 11 top 10 finishes, and six top 5 finishes. McColgan earned a podium finish on four separate occasions. 

SENIOR SEASON (2024): McColgan competed in all six EISA Carnivals her senior season and was named to the EISA All-East Second Team for the second time in her collegiate career ... McColgan was named to the 2024 UVM Ski Roster for the NCAA Championships ... McColgan raced to three different podium appearances, placing third in the Harvard Carnival 7.5k Freestyle Skate, the Dartmouth Carnival Classic Mass Start, and the Williams Carnival 5k Relay ... McColgan also secured a fourth place finish in the Harvard Carnival Classic Mass Start, fifth place finish in the Middlebury Carnival 7.5k Freestyle Skate, and sixth place finish in the Williams Carnival 10k Classic Skate ... McColgan concluded the season notching three podium placements, two top five performances, three top 10 performances, and two top 15 finishes. 

JUNIOR SEASON (2023): Annie participated in five carnivals, concluding the season with five top 10 performances … She achieved her career-best individual performance by placing 3rd in the 20km Classic event at the EISA Championships … Annie was also a member of the winning UVM relay team at the Harvard Carnival … She finished 37th and 19th, respectively, at the 2023 NCAA Championships. Furthermore, Annie represented the United States of America at the 2023 World University Games.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2022): McColgan competed in four of the six EISA Carnivals her sophomore season ... McColgan notched a season best finish during day two of the UVM Carnival, racing to fourth place in the 10k Classic ... In the seven races McColgan participated in, she never finished lower than 16th place ... McColgan secured back-to-back top 10 finishes, placing eighth in both the 5k Classic during day two of the Saint Michael's Carnival and the Freestyle Sprints during day one of the UVM Carnival ... McColgan also raced to seventh place in the 5k Classic during day one of the Dartmouth Carnival. 

FIRST YEAR SEASON (2021): McColgan competed in three EISA Carnivals her first year and was named to the EISA All-East Second Team ... McColgan notched a season best finish of fifth place during the Woodstock Carnival, racing in the 5k Classic ... She also secured a sixth place finish racing in the 10k Classic during the UVM Carnival and a seventh place finish racing in the 15k Skate at the UNH Carnival. 

BEFORE VERMONT: Was the 2020 Overall State Champion in Oregon ... McColgan qualified for the 2020 International Ski Federation U18 Nations’ Cup in Falun, Sweden at the 2020 U.S. Senior Nationals, placing third in the U18 skate sprint, fifth in the mass start classic and 13th in the individual start skate ... At the U18 Nations' Cup she finished 30th in the 7.5k Classic and 12th in the skate sprint after reaching the semifinals ... At the 2019 U18 Nations’ Cup in Otepaa, Estonia she placed 12th overall in the 5k Skate.

PERSONAL: Daughter of John McColgan and Mary Ann Ahmed ... Has a brother Jack who attends the University of British Columbia ... Lists Liz Stephen, from Barre, Vermont, a two-time Olympian who made 173 World Cup starts as the biggest influence on her as an athlete ... She also earned a 2nd place finish in the 2019 Oregon State Championships in Ultimate Frisbee.
