FIRST YEAR SEASON (2025): Bakkevig competed in all six EISA Carnivals for Vermont in her first year season, earning three different top 20 finishes. Bakkevig saw a season best 16th place finish during the Bates Carnival racing in the Slalom. Her two other top 20 finishes came during the Dartmouth Carnival racing to 17th place in the Slalom, and the St. Lawrence Carnival racing to 20th place in the Slalom. 

BEFORE VERMONT: She was the U18 Norwegian national champion in Slalom and Giant Slalom … Was the U21 Finnish national champion in Giant Slalom … Had four FIS (French: Fédération Internationale de Ski et de Snowboard) wins and twelve podium finishes.
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Oskar and Line Bakkevig … Has five siblings Rasmus, Johannes, Karoline, Karl, and Erik … Majoring in Business … She chose UVM for the high level ski team and university … Her biggest role model is Roger Federer.
