JUNIOR SEASON: Competed in every race during her first season at Vermont ... Was named to UVM's NCAA squad ... Earned her first collegiate win in the classic race at the EISA Championships, added a third place finish in the freestyle ... Was on the podium three times in 2016 ... Registered nine top-10 finishes ... Finished 26th in both races at the NCAA Championships.

BEFORE VERMONT: Came to Vermont from Le Grand-Bornand, Haute-Savoie in France ... Won a bonze medal at the 2015 University Games in Strepski Pleso, Slovakia in the relay ... Also played sixth in the 15K skate race ... Won four national championships and earned several podium appearances in European Cup and National Cup races.

PERSONAL: Is the daughter of Dominique and Vacro Pessey ... Has three sibliings Oscar, Lotus and Rose ... Oscar is a skydiver in New Zealand and Lotus is a Nordic skier on the regional Mont-Blanc team ... Is a public communications major at Vermont.
