FIRST YEAR SEASON (2025): Rizio competed in all six EISA Carnivals for Vermont and was named to the 2025 UVM Ski roster for the NCAA Championships. Rizio earned a season best finish of fourth place during the Bates Carnival racing in the 9.1k Freestyle Individual start. Rizio collected five total top 20 finishes, including a 17th place finish during the NCAA Championships racing in the 20k Freestyle Mass Start. 

BEFORE VERMONT: He was a five-time individual All-American … Won a Bronze medal in the Junior National Championships … Was a six-time back-to-back Individual State Champion … Selected as a National Training Group Member in 2023.
 
PERSONAL: Son of Joseph (‘90) and Jessica Rizio (‘96) … Has three older siblings: Mackenzie (Former Nordic Skier ‘20), Grace (‘22), and Abigail … Majoring in Business Administration, with a Minor in Political Science … He chose UVM for the team atmosphere and the reputation that is held for being a Catamount … His biggest influences were his coaches Rob Short and (sister) Mackenzie.
