NCAA Second Team All-American (Slalom) (2026)
EISA All-East First Team (2026)

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2026): Gillberg competed in all six of the EISA carnivals, placing in the top 35 of finishers in all races throughout his sophomore season ... He had a career best first place finish in the GS at the Dartmouth carnival, his first career outright EISA victory ... He also competed in the 2026 NCAA Championships, placing 10th in the slalom earning Second Team All-American recognition and 19th in the GS ... Along with his Second Team All-American citation in the slalm, Gillberg was named to the EISA All-East First Team ... Gillberg finished fourth in the slalom during the Williams Carnival and fourth in the GS during the Middlebury Carnival/EISA Championships ... Gillberg raced to seventh place in the slalom at the Middlebury Carnival/EISA Championships ... Gillberg placed ninth in the slalom at the St. Lawrence Carnival, seventh in the slalom at the Dartmouth Carnival, and eighth in the slalom at the UVM Carnival. 

FIRST YEAR SEASON (2025): Gillberg competed in all six EISA Carnivals for Vermont during his first year season. He secured eight different top 30 finishes including a season best seventh place finish during the Dartmouth Carnival racing in the Giant Slalom. Gillberg's second best finish came during the Giant Slalom race at the EISA Championships, placing 11th overall. 

BEFORE VERMONT: Attended Malung Alpine Elite Academy ... Represented Sweden at the Youth Olympic Games (2020) … Represented Sweden again at the Junior World Championships … He has twenty FIS (French: Fédération Internationale de Ski et de Snowboard) podiums and one win. 
 
PERSONAL: Son of Anders and Madeleine Gillberg ... Gillberg is Majoring in Business Administration … He chose UVM because of its great academics and the chance to be on a successful ski team.
