2011 OUTDOOR SEASON: He competed in six meets this season … Jennings set personal bests in four events … In the 800m he finished 51st at Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational in a personal best time of 2:00.63 … At the UMass Pre-Conference Invitational he ran the 1,500m in a career best time 3:58.16 … At the 2011 America East Outdoor Track and Field Championships Jennings set a personal best in the 3,000m steeplechase finishing fourth overall in a time of 9:15.39… In the 5,000m Jennings finished eighth overall with a time of 14:52.91 … At the 2011 New England Outdoor Track and Field Championships he finished second in the 5,000m with a career best time of 14:47.38 … He earned All–New England recognition for his efforts … He also competed in the 3,000m steeplechase finishing fourth with a time of 9:19.59 … Jennings was also honored as All-New England in the steeplechase.
2011 INDOOR SEASON: Competed in nine meets during the indoor season … Jennings set two personal bests during the indoor season … At a home meet with Middlebury and St. Peters (1/20) Jennings ran a career best 2:41.73 in the 1,000m … At the 2011 America East Indoor Track and Field Championships he finished 6th in the 3,000m with a career best time of 8:21.10 … Jennings qualified for the IC4A championships with that time … Jennings finished 17th overall at the IC4A championships with a time of 8:23.33.
BEFORE VERMONT: Transferred from the University of New Hampshire ... Prior to attending UNH, Jennings attended Concord High School where he was a multi-sport athlete ... Finished fifth overall at the 2008 USA Northeast Junior Triathlon competition ... Was a qualifier for the USA Half Max Triathlon Championships in 2009.
