Brittany Gustafson joined the UVM Athletic Medicine staff in the fall of 2012 serving as an assistant athletic trainer. She is responsible for providing day-to-day care and prevention for the women's basketball and women's swimming and diving teams.
Gustafson is originally from East Hampton, Connecticut and received her bachelor's of science in athletic training from Merrimack College in 2010. While at Merrimack she was a four-year member of the women's soccer team and was named captain her senior year.
She went on to complete her master's of science in exercise science and nutrition at Sacred Heart University in 2012. Brittany served as a graduate assistant in the athletic training department at SHU working primarily with men's soccer and baseball during her two years there.
Gustafson holds professional licensure in both Vermont and Connecticut and her professional interests include sports nutrition.
