SENIOR SEASON (2019-20): Skated in 25 games as a senior assistant captain … Finished the year with two assists … Picked up an assist at UConn (Dec. 7) and another at Merrimack (Jan. 25) … Finished the season with 32 shots on goal and 19 blocked shots.
JUNIOR SEASON (2018-19): Skated in all 34 games, posting five goals and eight assists for 13 points… assisted the game-tying goal in a 2-1 OT win against Connecticut (Nov. 3) … recorded an assist during a powerplay goal at Boston College (Nov. 9) … assisted the game-winning goal against Colorado College (Dec. 8) … netted the final goal in a 4-1 win against Alabama-Huntsville (De. 28) and again against New Hampshire (Feb. 9) … scored the opening goal in a 2-2 draw versus UMass Lowell (March 8) … assisted the opening goal against Providence (Feb. 1) … finished the season with 66 shots and 21 blocks
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2017-18): Was the only Catamount to skate in all 37 games, posting career-highs in goals (8) and points (16) while also tallying eight assists ... Registered his first point of the season with an assist against Colorado College (Oct. 7) ... Netted his first goal of the season with the game-winner against Union (Oct. 15) ... Tallied his first multi-point game of the season with two goals and one assist against New Hampshire (Oct. 28) ... Added an assist against UConn (Nov. 3) ... Recorded a point in back-to-back nights against Boston College (Nov. 10 & 11) ... Assisted on the game-tying goal on the road at Maine (Dec. 1) ... Buried the game-tying goal at home against UMass and assisted on the opening goal the following night (Jan. 12 & 13) ... Netted the game-winning goal in a road win over New Hampshire (Feb. 9) ... Recorded his first career point with an assist at home against Clarkson (Oct. 8) ... Added an assist at No. 20 Omaha (Oct. 21) ... Chipped in an assist at No. 7 UMass-Lowell (Nov. 4) ... Tallied an assist against Maine (Nov. 18) ... Registered his first career goal on the power play against No. 5 Boston University (Dec. 9) ... Added an assist at home against No. 16 St. Lawrence (Jan. 3) ... Netted a goal on the road at No. 17 Notre Dame (Feb. 4) ... BEFORE VERMONT: O'Donnell was limited to just 15 regular season games in 2015-16 with the Jersey Hitmen, but posted a point-per-game average with four goals and 11 assists ... The defenseman played in all seven of Jersey's playoff games as the Hitmen won the 2016 Dineen Cup as USPHL champions ... In 2014-15, he skated for the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders in the USHL and collected 13 points in 50 contests from the blue line ... O'Donnell spent two years at Loomis Chaffee prep school in Connecticut and posted 16 goals and 41 points in 53 total games. He won the 2014 NEPSAC Championship while serving as team captain during his senior season.
