2012 SEASON: Competed in all but one event on the season and was one of the team's top-5 runners ... Was fourth on the team at the 2012 America East Championships with a season-best time of 17:44 to finish 21st overall ... Ran a 22:11 at the 2012 NCAA Northeast Regional to rank sixth on the squad ... Poster her second best time of the year (17:46) at the New England Championships to place fourth on the team and 15th overall ... Also fourth on the team at the Paul Short Run (6K) with a mark of 22:05.
2011 SEASON: Competed in six races, placing among the team's top-6 runners four times ... Finished the year strong as she posted a season-best time of 18:16 at the America East Championships, good for sixth among Vermont runners ... Was the fifth Catamount to cross the finish line the following week at the NCAA Regionals (6K) with a time of 22:46 ... Ran a time of 19:04 at the New England Championships to finish in the UVM top-10 ... Ranked fifth on the team with a time of 19:20 at Vermont's home meet on Sep. 11.
2010 SEASON: Competed in seven races … Was top five among Catamounts in four races … Broke the 19-minute mark and posted a season-best time of 18:49 at the America East Championships … Placed fifth overall and fourth among Vermont runners at the Saint Michaels Invitational.
2009 SEASON: Ran in seven races ... Was among UVM's top-6 runners in each race ... Posted sub-20 minutes times in four races ... Had a season-best time of 18:51 at the UMass Invitational ... Finished third overall at the Saint Michael's Invitational ... Was the fourth best Vermont runner at the New England Championships and the fifth best among the Catamounts at the America East Championships to score in both races.
BEFORE VERMONT: Came to Vermont from Westfield High School in Westfield, Mass. ... Was captain of the indoor and outdoor track & field teams as a junior and senior ... Holds school records in the 600m and 1000m.
PERSONAL: Is the daughter of Gerald and Nicole McGilpin ... Has two sisters ... Is a zoology major and her career objective is to work in the field of wildlife conservation.
