FRESHMAN SEASON (2016-17): Saw action in all 38 games, tallying 16 goals and 15 assists ... Picard’s 16 goals and 31 total points led the team and were the most by a rookie in varsity program history ... Closed the season on a four-game point streak and scored a goal in three playoff games ... At Union (Oct. 4), becomes the first Catamount in the Division I Era to pocket two goals in her collegiate debut ... Scored in overtime at No. 10 Northeastern (Dec. 4) ... Notched the game-winner against Yale (Dec. 31) on New Year’s Eve ... Lit the lamp in both games at No. 9 Boston University (Jan. 14 & 15) ... Earned two assists in 16 seconds against New Hampshire (Feb. 4) ... Had a goal plus a helper in a win over Merrimack (Feb. 17) ... In Game 2 against the Friars (Feb. 25), recorded Vermont’s first-ever postseason penalty shot goal ... Scored twice and chipped in an assist in the decisive Game 3 of the Hockey East Quarterfinals at Providence (Feb. 26).
BEFORE VERMONT: After missing the 2014-15 season due to injury, Picard returned to action and thrived with the Saint-Laurent Patriots (CEGEP) in 2015-16 ... She was tied for fifth in the league in scoring with 16 goals and 14 assists in 23 games played ... The Patriots finished the season 20-2-1-1 ... In the Spring of 2016, she was invited to Hockey Canada's conditioning camp in Hamilton, Ontario ... Picard won a gold medal with Canada at the 2014 U18 Women's World Championship in Budapest, Hungary ... Picard had five goals and one assist in six games as Canada won their third consecutive U18 gold ... In the gold medal game Picard had two goals in a 5-1 win over the United States ... In 2013 Picard won the Esso Cup, Canada's National Female Midget Championship, with LHFDQ Nord ... It was Quebec's first Esso Cup title ... She had a goal and an assist in a 5-2 title game win.
