Biography
2014-15 Season: Brittany Zuback skated in all 36 games during her senior year, she never missed a game in four years with the Catamounts and set a program record with 137 games played ... During her final season as a Catamount she picked up 16 goals and 14 assists for 30 points ... She scored the game-winning goal for the Catamounts against Union (Oct. 25) and Syracuse (Nov. 14) ... She finishes her career in second all-time at Vermont in assists (53) and points (97) ... She is tied with Amanda Pelkey as Vermont's all-time leader in power play goals with 16.
2013-14 Season: Skated in all 34 games and set a program single-season record with 23 assists ... She added 11 goals for 34 points on the season ... On Nov. 1 she recorded the Catamounts first hat trick since 2007 in a 4-0 win at Connecticut ... She recorded at least three points in four games, all Vermont wins ... She scored the game-winning goal in triple overtime in the Catamounts first ever Division I playoff win over Maine in the Hockey East quarterfinals ... Vermont was 7-0-2 when she scored a goal.
2012-13 Season: Skated in all 33 games and led the team in scoring with 14 goals and 12 assists for 26 points ... Zuback set the Division I team record for points and goals in a single season ... On Feb. 1 she picked up her first career game-winning goal in a 3-1 win over New Hampshire ... On three sepearate occasions she had point streaks of three games or more ... On Feb. 10 she registered a season-high three points in a 4-1 win over Maine.
2011-12 Season: Played in all 32 games of the season recording seven points with three goals and four assists…Scored her first goal as a Catamount in the 2-2 tie against Rensselaer on Oct. 7… Recorded her first conference goal on Oct. 22 against Providence … Served the game-winning assist in the 3-0 win over Colgate on Nov. 27.
BEFORE VERMONT: Zuback played the season 2010-11 season with the Kitchener-Waterloo Rangers of the Provincial Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) … In 34 games she had 13 goals and 17 assists for 30 points … Registered a season best two goals and one assist in a 5-0 win at Hamilton (1/21) … In 2010 she played Midget AA in the Ontario Women’s Hockey Association (OWHA) with her hometown Thunder Bay Queens … The Queens won the Ontario provincial championship and the 2010 Esso Cup, the national midget championship … In seven games at the 2010 Esso Cup Zuback had four goals and three assists … She was named the Thunder Bay Queens MVP for 2010 … In the summer of 2010 Zuback played for the Canadian National Under-18 team in a three game series versus the US in Lake Placid, NY.
