FIRST-YEAR SEASON (2023-24):
* Skated in 26 of UVM's 35 games, finishing with 2 goals, 4 assists for 6 points (3 assists in 19 HEA games)
* Had 1 assist in collegiate debut October 28th in a 2-2 tie with Providence
* 1st collegiate goal (and an assist) in 4-1 win over Union December 9th
* Had 2 assists in Vermont's 3-3 tie at Lowell on February 10th
 
BEFORE VERMONT:
* Was the captain of the Austin Bruins in the NAHL last season, posting 4 goals and 36 assists for 40 points in 51 regular-season games
* In the postseason, had 3 goals and six assists as the Bruins advanced to the Roberston Cup Championship
* In the 2021-22 campaign, had 21 points in 56 games with the Bruins.

PERSONAL:
* Son of Michelle and Ross Malinski ... Has two older brothers Gabe and Sam
* Gabe played football and hockey at St. Thomas, while Sam played 3 seasons at Cornell (ECAC) and is currently a member of the Colorado Avalanche
* Lists Moneyball as his favorite movie and Suits as his favorite TV show
