SENIOR SEASON (2017-18): Played in all 35 games in her senior season on the blue line ... Finished the year with four assists ... Tallied a helper against Boston University (Nov. 17) and Minnesota (Jan. 12) ... Assisted on a pair of goals in Vermont’s 5-2 win over Northeastern (Jan. 26).

JUNIOR SEASON (2016-17): Played in 28 games and scored a pair of goals to go with four assists ... Helped the Catamounts reach the Hockey East Semifinals for the second time in program history ... Had a pair of helpers in a win over Maine (Jan. 7) ... Logged an assist against UNH (Feb. 3) as UVM hosted a Hockey East regular season record crowd ... Also lit the lamp in a win over New Hampshire (Feb. 4), her first collegiate goal ... Scored a goal in the first game of the Merrimack series (Feb. 17) ... Chipped in 21 blocks throughout the season. 

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2015-16): Katherine saw action in all 37 games for Vermont and ended the season with three assists ... Recorded her first point of the year with an assist in a win versus Providence College (Nov. 14) ... She picked up an assist in the opening game of the Windjammer Classic against Ohio State (Nov. 28).

FRESHMAN SEASON (2014-15): Katherine played in 32 games during her freshman campaign ... She was tied for a team low with two penalty minutes ... She picked up five assists during the year ... She earned her first collegiate point in her first collegiate game as Vermont upset No. 7 North Dakota 3-1 (Oct. 4) ... She assisted on the game-winning goal as Vermont won a crucial late-season contest at Providence (Feb. 21) ... Pate led the team and was tied for fourth in Hockey East with 57 blocked shots.

BEFORE VERMONT: She was the team captain of the Westminster Martlets during her senior year ... The Martlets capped off a 17-6-3 campaign by knocking off the first, second, and third seeded teams to capture the New England Prep School Division I Championship ... It was Pate's second prep school title and she added USA Hockey National Championships in each of the past three years with her Assabet Valley club team as well ... In addition to softball and hockey, Pate was also a goalie on the field hockey and soccer teams at Westminster.

PERSONAL: Daughter of James and Lisa Pate ... Has an older brother, Jonathan, who played golf and club hockey at Hobart College ... She is majoring in Community Entrepreneurship with a double minor in Business and Sports Management at UVM.
