SOPHOMORE SEASON (2016-17): Saw time in all 29 games and also started against Brown (Dec. 8), at Michigan (Dec. 17) and at Oakland (Dec. 20) ... Put down 12 points on 4-of-7 shooting in the TD Bank Classic Semifinals against NJIT (Nov. 25) ... Also had four rebounds in that game ... Tallied 16 points, six rebounds and four blocks against Brown (Dec. 8) ... Scored 11 points at Michigan (Dec. 17) ... Grabbed five rebounds against Binghamton (Jan. 11) ... Turned in a career-high 19 points in a win over UMass Lowell (Feb. 15) ... Grabbed four rebounds in the America East Quarterfinals against Albany (March 4)

FRESHMAN SEASON (2016-17): Played in 29 games including, four starts ... Averaged 3.7 points and 1.5 rebounds per game ... Scored 10 points against Stony Brook (Jan. 30) ... Scored a season-high 17 points versus Binghamton (Feb. 6) ... Scored seven points and grabbed a season-best seven rebounds against UMBC (Feb. 20) ... Scored 10 points and blocked two shots in the win against Stony Brook (Feb. 28)

BEFORE VERMONT: Handy is a 6-2 forward and played at Northern Collegiate High School ... Led the Vikings to the city title as a freshman in 2011 and the team advanced to the OFSAA Tournament every season, finishing in the top four each year with a team-best second place finish in 2013 ... Has also been a member of Team Ontario for several seasons and competed in the U.S. Junior Nationals and the Canada Summer Games

PERSONAL: Daughter of Rick and Pamela Handy … Younger sister, Carmen, is also on the women's basketball team ... Majoring in elementary education.
