The 2020 Cats posted a 4-4 overall record before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 Pandemic (Coronavirus). In her first season, Pearsall helped the Catamounts to eight wins – the most victories in five years. She also tutored Jenna Janes into becoming the first Vermont player to collect America East First Team All-Conference since 2015. Freshman Grace Giancola also landed on the All-Conference Second Team and one of three Catamount newcomers to make the All-Rookie Team.
Pearsall came to Catamount Country after serving as an assistant varsity lacrosse coach at The Harpeth Hall, an all-girls preparatory school, in Nashville, Tennessee. She also took Team Tennessee, comprised of the top high school lacrosse players in the state, to the U.S. Lacrosse Association Girl’s National Tournament last June. In the previous two years, she was the club lacrosse coach for TNLax – coaching offseason lacrosse in the fall and summer to middle and high school girls in Tennessee.
A three-time All-American at Notre Dame, Pearsall accrued over 100 career points from 2014-17 including three of Sarah Dalton’s four seasons as offensive coordinator with the Fighting Irish. As a senior, she was named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List, awarded to the nation’s top college lacrosse player, and collected an All-ACC First Team nod.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in management consulting and psychology from Notre Dame in 2017. In the classroom, she was a two-time ACC All-Academic Team selection.
After Notre Dame, Pearsall played professionally with the Long Island Sound of the United Women’s Lacrosse League along with Upstate Pride in the Women’s Professional Lacrosse League.
