AS A SOPHOMORE (2013): Played in seven games, made three starts … Posted a .355 save percentage and 12.78 goals against average … Made 27 total saves on the year … … Earned her first career start in goal vs. Boston College and made a season-high eight saves … Named the America East Defensive Player of the Week after helping defeat UMBC and earn her first career win

AS A FRESHMAN (2012): Saw action in two games, playing just under 10 minutes on the season.

BEFORE VERMONT: Hopkins a goalkeeper, played scholastically at Penn Yan Academy where she served as the team captain as a senior … A two-time Finger Lakes League All-Star, Hopkins helped her team win back-to-back Finger Lakes League titles during her career.
 
PERSONAL: Is the daughter of John and Kim Hopkins … Is one of four girls in the family … Older sister Erin played lacrosse at Franklin Pierce University and sister Chelsey played softball at Keuka College … Is a public communications major.
