HONORS: 2011 NCAA Second-Team All-American (freestyle) ... 2011 EISA All-East First-Team
AS A JUNIOR (2011): Made her first appearance in the NCAAs with the Catamounts in 2011 … She finished in the top-10 in the six races she competed in during the regular season … Earned a spot on the podium five times ... Ironically her lone win of the season came in the 10k classic race at the Colby Carnival, Garrec transferred to UVM from Colby … Placed eighth in the 5k freestyle at the 2011 NCAA Championships to earn Second-Team All-America honors.
Transferred to Vermont after two seasons skiing at Colby College in Waterville, Maine.
AT COLBY: As a sophomore she had three top-10 finishes on the season ... Placed sixth at the E.I.S.A. Championships in the 15K freestyle ... Capped off the season with a 19th place finish at the NCAA Championships in the 15K freestyle and was 29th in the 5K classic race ... As a freshman, she started her collegiate racing career with a third place finish in the 5K classic at the Bates Carnival ... Added a victory in the 15K freestyle the next day for her first collegiate win ... Posted four other top-10 finishes over the course of the carnival season ... Placed second at the E.I.S.A. Championship in the 5K classic ... Finished the year wiht a 14th place finish in the 5K classic at the NCAA Championships at Black Mountain, Maine.
