CAREER HONORS: Three-time America East Academic Honor Roll (2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11).
AS A SENIOR (2011): Saw action in seven games off the bench.
AS A JUNIOR (2010): Started 15 of the 18 games she appeared in as a junior.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2009): Was plagued by injuries but did see action on three games and earned a start in the final game of the year at Hartford.
AS A FRESHMAN (2008): Saw action in two games on the season.
BEFORE VERMONT: DeSieno (pronounced dah-see-no) came to Vermont from Abington High School where she was a three-sport athlete, including a four-year starter for the soccer team ... A defender, she played her club soccer with the Cape Cod Lady Crusaders and was a three-year Massachusetts Premier Soccer Regional Olympic Development player ... In 2007, the Lady Crusaders captured the U.S. Club Soccer National Championship ... During her high school career, DeSieno was named to the Eastern Massachusetts Coaches All-Star First Team, the Soccer All-Scholastic Team and the South Shore League All-Star squad ... She scored 38 goals and recorded 47 assists in her career.
PERSONAL: Is the daughter of David and Sandra DeSieno ... Has two older siblings - Jessica and Josh - who both attend Southern New Hampshire University ... Grandfather Fred Bergfors played baseball at Williams College ... Is a nursing major at Vermont.
