BEFORE VERMONT: Yaacoub comes to Vermont from Courtice, Ontario where she attended Courtice Secondary School … Born in Ajax, Ontario … In high school she played boys soccer from 2022-24 as a midfielder, girls volleyball from 2022-2023 in multiple positions, and girls basketball during the 2023 year as a guard … She helped her high school become 2024 Regional Soccer Champions and earned OFSAA qualification in 2024 … She was named the 2023 soccer MVP.
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Hannah Osman and Sam Yaacoub … Has two siblings, Ayah and Yasmin … Plans on majoring in Biology … She chose UVM because she “fell in love with the culture around campus, the area, as well as the soccer environment, coaches, and teammates.”
