AS A FRESHMAN (2007): Played in all 18 games, earning seven starts … Made her collegiate debut in the season opener versus Central Arkansas and recorded her first career point with an assist on the game-winning goal … Earned a spot on the 2007 TD Banknorth Classic All-Tournament Team and was named America East Rookie of the Week (9/14) … Scored her first career goal versus George Washington … Earned her first career start at St. Mary’s (Calif.) … Added a goal in a win over Albany … Finished the year with seven points on two goals and three assists … Ranked seventh among the assist leaders in America East.

BEFORE VERMONT: She earned All-New England honors and was nominated for All-America honors as a senior at Essex High School ... Bonfigli was a co-captain and led Essex to a 12-2-3 record in 2006 ... She was named the Vermont Gatorade Player of the Year in 2005-06 and was selected to the Burlington Free Press All-State First Team in 2005 and 2006 ... She also earned all-state honors from the Vermont Soccer Coaches’ Association and was named to the all-league team twice during her career … Bonfigli played for the Nordic Spirit Soccer Club in Vermont and as state champions competed at the regional tournament with Nordic in 2006 … Also played tennis and was a member of the Nordic ski team at Essex High School … She was the Vermont State Division I Champion in tennis as a senior.

PERSONAL: Is the daughter of Daniel and Kathleen Bonfigli … Father is a 1981 graduate of UVM and was a member of the Vermont men’s tennis team, along with his two brothers Eddie and Michael … Mother is a 1982 graduate of UVM ... Born in Miami, Florida … Is majoring in exercise and movement sciences and would like to pursue a career in physical therapy.
