SENIOR SEASON (2016): Started all 19 games for the green and gold ... named team captain ... solidified UVM's backline and helped the Cats post six shutouts ... wrapped up her UVM career with 72 games played, all starts, which is tied for the third-most in program history
JUNIOR SEASON (2015): Started all 18 games and helped anchor the Vermont defense.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014): Started all 17 games and anchored the back line for Vermont ... Recorded her second career assist in a victory over UMBC.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2013): Started all 18 games on the back line for the Catamounts … Picked up her first career point with an assist in a 1-1 draw against Maine … Was one of the top rookie defenders in the league.
BEFORE VERMONT: James, a defender, comes to Vermont from Sharon High School in Sharon, Mass ... Played her club soccer with Scorpions ECNL ... Was an Eastern Massachusetts All-Star in 2012 and a three-time Hockomock League All-Star ... Also served as team captain and was named the team MVP as a senior ... Was with the Scorpions program for 10 years ... The Scorpions are a “Top 30 Club” program according to Soccer America and a “Top 50 Team” in the TopDrawerSoccer.com rankings ... With James on the team, the Scorpions won three straight Region I Championships, three consecutive Region I Premier League titles and six straight Massachusetts State Championships.
