• America East Academic Honor Roll (2022-23)
FIRST YEAR SEASON (2022-23):
- She finished with a season-best time of 1:02.22 in the 100 back at the meet with Siena (Jan. 15).
- At the NJIT Invitational she placed 10th with a season-best time of 1:12.34 in the 100 breast, 10th in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:17.65 and ninth in the 200 IM finishing in a time of 2:17.66.
- She set another season-best finish in the 100 fly coming in at a time of 1:02.54 at the America East Championship … Also, at the 2023 America East Championship she set a season best time of 2:12.63 in the 200 IM and a season-best finish of 2:10.21 in the 200 fly.
BEFORE VERMONT: Attended Pascack Valley High School … Was a four-year member of the swim team … Her main events include the 100 backstroke, 100 Fly, 200 IM, 200 medley relay and the 400 free relay … Captain of her high school swim team during the 2021-22 season … Was named to first team All-League three times (2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21) in a variety of events including the 100 backstroke, the 100 Fly, 400 free relay and the 200 medley relay … In her senior season she qualified for the state championships where she placed 14th in 100 Fly and 8th in the 200 IM … Chose Vermont because of the community and the athletic and academic opportunities it provides … Plans on majoring in Exercise Science.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Cynthia and James Freeman … Siblings Cassie attends Boston and Danni goes to Northeastern.
