Biography
2010-11: Gave the Catamounts depth in the freestyle events … Finished fourth in back-to-back meets in the 1,000 freestyle against Siena (11:00.69) and Maine/Keene State (11:03.43) … Earned a fourth-place showing in the 1,000 free (11:05.86) against Rhode Island … Won the 1,000 free (10:36.07) and placed second in the 500 free (5:14.16) at the Middlebury Invitational.
2009-10: Competed in primarily the 100 and 200 backstroke events as a freshman, but also took part in the 200 and 500 freestyle events … Placed 11th in the 500 free in the first meet of her collegiate career at Navy … At the Middlebury Invitational she placed third in the 200 backstroke (2:17.62) and 10th in the 500 freestyle (5:23.14).
Before UVM: Attended East Greenwich High School in her hometown of East Greenwich, R.I. ... Was nominated for the 2009 Rhode Island Swimmer of the Year ... Finished second team all-state as a junior in the 200 and 500 freestyle events ... Also earned second team honors as a senior in the 500 free.
