JUNIOR OUTDOOR SEASON (2022): Opened the season with a fifth-place finish in the pole vault at the UMass Lowell Invite (Mar. 26) ... Placed 11th in the pole vault at the UMass Outdoor Invite II (Apr. 30).
JUNIOR INDOOR SEASON (2022): Posted a ninth-place finish in the pole vault at the Dartmouth Indoor Opener with a mark of 3.10m (Dec. 11) ... Was third in the Middlebury Invite with a mark of 3.10m (Jan. 29) ... Placed 17th in the pole vault at the New England Championships with jump of 3.05m (Feb. 4 & 5) ... Was 21st in the pole vault at the Scarlet & White Invite with a mark of 3.10m (Feb. 5) ... Finished ninth in the pole vault with a personal-best mark of 3.20m at the America East Championships (Feb. 25 & 26).
SOPHOMORE OUTDOOR SEASON (2021): Did not compete.
FRESHMAN INDOOR SEASON (2020): Made her debut with a ninth-place finish in the pole vault at Dartmouth (Dec. 14) ... Logged a fourth-place finish in the pole vault at the Middlebury Winterfell (Jan. 18) ... Took sixth in the pole vault at the Middlebury Invitational (Jan. 25) ... Was 13th in the pole vault at the Dartmouth Invitational (Feb. 8).
BEFORE UVM: Came to UVM from Minden, Nevada… Shelby is part of Bishop Manogue Catholic High School’s class of 2019… Captained the team during her senior year… Achieved State Academic team during all four years of high school.
PERSONAL: Is the daughter of Barry and Karla Jones… Has two siblings, Miki and Alex… was born in Reno, Nevada… Chose UVM for the welcoming atmosphere, fun city, and the opportunity to succeed… intends to major in Neuroscience with a minor in Law and Society.
