SOPHOMORE INDOOR SEASON (2020): Made her debut with a second-place finish in the 3000m (10:14.87) at Dartmouth (Dec. 14) ... Finished fourth in the Dartmouth Relays with a 3000m time of 10:05.44 (Jan. 10) ... Ran a personal-best 3000m time of 10:00.42 for 33rd at the Terrier Classic (Jan. 25) ... Logged a 5000m time of 17:24.91 for fifth place at the NEICAAA Championships (Feb. 1) ... Finished fifth in the 3000m run at the UAlbany Winter Classic with a time of 10:01.08 (Feb. 7) ... BEFORE UVM: Came to UVM from Marblehead, Massachusetts … She played field hockey and softball for Marblehead High School … Captained field hockey in 2017 and softball in 2018.
PERSONAL: Bel is the daughter of Adam and Janet Sogoloff … Has a younger sister, Maeve who plays field hockey and softball … Chose UVM because she loves being so close to the mountains and the lake and how there is a variety of academic opportunities. Also, the community values the outdoors, which makes running here really inspiring … Majoring in exercise science.
