2012 OUTDOOR SEASON: Competed in six events ... Scored in the 400-meter hurdles at the 2012 America East Outdoor Championships with a time of 1:03.20 ... Also finished seventh with the 4x100-meter relay team with a time of 48.69 ... Ran a season-best 400-meter hurdles time of 1:03.17 the following weekend to place ninth overall at the 2012 New England Outdoor Championships ... Placed fourth at the UNH Wildcat Invitational with a mark of 1:06.09 ... Posted a season-best time (26.31) in the 200-meter dash to win the event at the Middlebury Invitational.

2012 INDOOR SEASON: Competed in nine events and won three races ... Finished sixth in the 200-meter dash at the 2012 America East Indoor Championships with a career-best time of 25.19 seconds ... Also placed sixth in the 60-meter hurdles and set a personal record by running a 8.87 in the preliminary heat ... Finished 16th in the 200-meter at the 2012 New England Indoor Championships with a time of 25.55 ... Placed 14th in the 60-meter hurdles as she finished in 8.93 ... Set a personal record in the 300-meter dash against Hartford in her season debut with a time of 41.95 to win the race ... Also won the 55-meter hurdles at the meet with a season-best mark of 8.32 ... Placed second in the 60-meter dash at Dartmouth with her best time of the season (7.94) ... Captured the 55-meter title at New Hampshire with a season-best 7.43 ... Was fifth in the 400-meter at the Joe Donahue Indoor Games with a career-best time of 59.43.

2011 OUTDOOR SEASON: Competed in seven events during the outdoor season … At the 2011 America East Outdoor Track and Field Championships she finished eighth in the 100m hurdles and second in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:02.39 … Fourie set a new personal best in the 100m hurdle preliminaries with a time of 14.32 … She received All-America East honors for her efforts in the 400m hurdles … At the 2011 New England Outdoor Track and Field Championships she finished fifth in the 100m hurdles in a time of 14.34 and set a new personal best in the 400m hurdles finishing second in 1:02.13 … She earned All-New England honors in both events.

2011 INDOOR SEASON: Competed in nine events during indoor season, establishing personal bests in five events … At the 2011 America East Indoor Track and Field Championships she finished sixth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.87 … In the preliminaries she set a new personal best in the event with a time of 8.74 … At the 2011 New England Indoor Track and Field Championships she finished fourth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.76, and placed seventh in the 60m with a time of 7.89 … She was also a member of Vermont’s 4x400m relay team that finished seventh overall in the event … She received All-New England honors in all three events … Fourie also competed at the 2011 ECAC Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 60m hurdles finishing 17th in a time of 8.93.

BEFORE VERMONT: Came to Vermont from Bluevale Collegiate Institute in Waterloo, Ontario ... Was a member of the track, basketball, volleyball and badminton teams ... Placed third overall at the OTFA BMJ Provincial Championships in the 60m hurdles ... Finished first overall in the 60m hurdles at the OTFA JS Provincial Championships.
