Former professional goalkeeper Owen Jack returned to Catamount Country ahead of the 2025 season after spending one year on staff at Stetson University, where he served as an assistant coach for the men’s program and goalkeeper coach for the women’s team.

While at Stetson, Jack played an instrumental role in one of the most successful stretches in recent program history. He coached ASUN Goalkeeper of the Year Nicolo Radaelli, ASUN Player of the Year Charles Ahl—who went on to sign a professional contract with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds—and ASUN Defensive Player of the Year Clarence Loriot. Jack helped guide the Hatters to the 2024 ASUN Regular Season Championship, the program’s first since 2017, while overseeing one of the league’s top defensive units. Under his direction, Stetson allowed just five goals in seven conference matches and went unbeaten in ASUN play.

Prior to coaching, Jack signed a professional contract with Birmingham Legion FC of the USL Championship, making his professional debut in July 2024.

As a player, Jack used his final year of eligibility as a graduate transfer at the University of Vermont in 2023, where he started all 21 matches and ranked among the nation’s leaders in minutes played (1,910) and shutouts (8). He helped lead the Catamounts to the NCAA Tournament Second Round, posting a 13-6-2 record and a 0.85 goals-against average.

As a player at Stetson from 2018 to 2022, Jack made 22 career appearances in goal and earning six shutouts. He served as team captain during his senior season and led the ASUN in saves (53), save percentage (.779), and saves per game (4.42) in 2022. Known for his leadership and consistency, he helped solidify the culture of Stetson’s back line during his final years on the field.

Jack holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and an MBA from Stetson University, along with a graduate certificate in Business and Sustainability from the University of Vermont.
