Final Results: Men | WomenORONO, Maine – Dan Moroney,
Dylan Souder, and
Alicia Clark all earned America East All-Conference honors on Saturday morning at the 2014 America East Cross Country Championships, hosted by Maine. Clark led the women's team to a third place finish with 101 points, while Moroney and Souder helped the men take sixth with 129 points.

Clark earned All-Conference honors for the first time in her career with an eighth place finish as she posted a time of 18:04.92 for the women. Classmate
Nikki Braceras was second on the team with a time of 18:17.15 for 14
th overall.
Hilary Rawding (18:45.73) and
Julie Richer (18:53.91) finished roughly eight seconds apart in positions 23 and 26 in the 5K race.

Sydney Durand (19:20.47) and
Amber Peirsol (19:24.17) posted 39
th and 41
st, while freshman
Smita Boesch-Dining ran a time of 19:39.25 to give the Catamounts seven runners inside the top-50.
Heidi Peterson was just above the 20-minute mark in 20:02.01 for 56
th place.

Moroney (25:04.78) and Souder (25:16.45) finished back-to-back in sixth and seventh place in the men's 8K race as each runner earned All-Conference honors for the first time. The next Vermont finisher was
Patrick Coppinger in 32
nd as the sophomore ran a time of 25:57.36.
Thomas O'Leary (26:06.59) crossed the line less than 10 seconds later and took 37
th.

Fletcher Hazlehurst placed just inside the top-50 with a time of 26:20.94, while rookie
Noah Bell ran a time of 26:29.44 for 51
st overall in his America East debut. Senior
Mike Baccari rounded out the squad's top-7 with a mark of 26:54.82 for 61
st place.

UNH sophomore Elinor Purrier won the women's race with a time of 17:19.42, leading the Wildcats to a convincing team victory with 26 points. Binghamton won the men's team title with 59 points, while Stony Brook's Eric Speakman claimed the individual championship with a time of 24:41.23.
The Catamounts return to action in two weeks when they travel to New York for the 2014 NCAA Regional on Friday, Nov. 14 at 11 a.m. The event will take place at Van Cortland Park in the Bronx.
