BURLINGTON, Vt. - The University of Vermont men's soccer team has clinched a spot in the upcoming America East Playoffs. UVM will be making its 10th appearance, fifth straight, in the last 11 years under head coach
Jesse Cormier. The fourth-place Catamounts wrap up the regular season hosting last-place New Hampshire on Wednesday (Nov. 5) at 1 p.m. at Virtue Field.

America East StandingsVermont enters the match with a 2-3-1 America East record and is 7-7-2 overall. The Catamounts are lookign to snap a two-game losign streak and a four-game winless streak against the Wildcats. UNH and UVM have gone 0-2-2 in the last four meetings, but the Catamounts own a 34-16-6 advantage in the all-time series.
Sophomore
Brian Wright ranks among the league leaders with a team-high seven goals and 17 points. His seven tallies are the most by a Catamount since Lee Stephane Kouadio netted nine goals in 2005. Wright's 17 points are the most since Juan Peralta posted 17 points in 2011. Senior goalkeeper
Conor Leland enters the match with 21 career wins, good for seventh among UVM's all-time leaders and owns 18 shutouts, fifth all-time in the record books.
New Hampshire stands at 1-5-0 in league play and is 5-10-1 on the year. The Wildcats have lost four straight and are coming off a 1-0 loss to UMass Lowell on Saturday. David Schlatter leads New Hampshire in scoring with seven points and three goals. Travis Worra has been the top goalkeeper for UNH and carries a 1.28 goals against avearge and .742 save percentage into the game.
