FINAL SCORE: UNH 4, Vermont 0BURLINGTON, Vt. – New Hampshire freshman Katie Audino scored a pair of goals as the Wildcats topped Vermont 4-0 in their second match of the season this afternoon at Moulton Winder Field.

Audino paced the Wildcats early on, one-timing a quick pass from Emma Compagna in front of the net for her fourth goal of the season 11:56 into the first half.

Vermont generated six shot attempts looking to even the score in the first half but Audino tipped her second goal past Vermont's
Lena Benwood in the 35th minute as the Wildcats closed out the half with a two-goal advantage.

Lindsey Nerbonne, who leads the Wildcats in points, registered her ninth goal of the season in the 37th minute to make it 3-0 for New Hampshire.

Vermont's
Molly Higgins and
Lauren Tucker attempted to use a late penalty corner to spoil New Hampshire's shutout, however a goal by Lynne Lehman in the 48th minute secured the Wildcats third America East victory of the season.
Benwood was credited with 11 saves while Vermont registered ten total shots. Vermont falls to 3-13 (1-5 AEC) while New Hampshire now sits a 7-8 (3-2 AEC).
