VERMONT WOMEN'S LACROSSE NOTEBOOKUVM plays a pair of games this week beginning with a home tilt against Quinnipiac on Wednesday, March 11 at 3 p.m. in Burlington. The Catamounts then hit the road for a weekend matchup at Sacred Heart on Saturday, March 14 at 12 p.m. Links to live coverage of this week's contests are available above.

ABOUT VERMONTThe Catamounts own a 3-3 record on the year after topping High Point and falling to Winthrop on their road trip down south over spring break. Vermont's three wins this season have come against Colgate (12-11 OT), Siena (8-5) and most recently High Point (13-11).

ABOUT QUINNIPIACThe Bobcats are still looking for their first win of the season after dropping matchups to UConn and Hofstra this past week to fall to 0-5 overall. Quinnipiac is averaging just 7.20 goals per game and has yet to score double-digit goals in any of their opening five games. Kyra Ochwat and Kathleen DeVito have provided the early season offense for the squad with a combined 30 points. Samantha Tilts owns a 13.09 goals against average in five games in goal for the Bobcats.

th time in series history when the teams face off on Wednesday. The Catamounts own a 7-4 advantage over the Bobcats and have won two of the last three meetings, including a 19-10 victory last season in Hamden, Connecticut.
Vanessa VanderZalm led UVM in the win last season with a game-high seven points (3 g, 4 ast).
ABOUT SACRED HEARTThe Pioneers, who sit at 2-3 on the season, have averaged just 5.40 goals per game through the opening five contests. In their two most recent tilts they matched up with a pair of America East schools, as they edged conference newcomer UMass Lowell, 7-6, and fell to Binghamton by a final of 9-5. Caitlin Delaney tops the team in all three scoring categories, as well as ground balls and caused turnovers. Kelly Keenan has started three games in net and posted a 10.14 goals against average.
