The Vermont men's lacrosse team travels for matchups with New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and Air Force to begin spring break this week. The Catamounts will face NJIT in New Jersey on Tuesday (March 3) at 4 p.m., before heading down to Bethesda, Md. for a neutral site tilt with Air Force on Saturday (March 7) at 1 p.m. Links to live video and stats of the game vs. NJIT are available above.
ABOUT VERMONTThe Catamounts are looking for their first win of the campaign after falling to Boston University last time out. Sophomore
Ian MacKay paced UVM in the contest with three points on a goal and a pair of assists, and six other Catamounts tallied a goal apiece, but strong second and third periods from Boston University led the Terriers to the victory at Virtue Field.

SCOUTING NJITThe Highlanders enter their first-ever season as a varsity lacrosse program in 2015 and are made up of 23 freshmen, one sophomore and one senior. They opened the year with an 18-4 loss at America East opponent Stony Brook two weeks ago, and dropped a 10-3 decision against Quinnipiac last time out. Freshmen Tyler Baggett and Joe Lomeli have combined for five goals in the opening two contests to lead NJIT. Goalie Nick Marzullo has earned a pair of starts in net and owns a 14.00 goals against average and .462 save percentage.

Air Force is averaging 7.60 goals per game and allowing 9.20 to opponents through the first five contests. Chris Walsch (13 g, 4 ast) and Keith Dreyer (4 g, 6 ast) have paced the Falcons with a combined 27 points. Doug Gouchoe, who's made all five starts in net, owns a 9.09 GAA and .516 save pct.
