Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame Release
BUFFALO – Former Vermont men's hockey defenseman Aaron Miller '93 was introduced as one of 12 new members of the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame on Wednesday at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center in downtown Buffalo. Miller will be formally inducted at the annual ceremony in November.

Miller was a three-time All-ECAC selection at Vermont and was named an NCAA All-American while serving as team captain during his senior season in 1993. The Buffalo native posted 62 points in 122 games during his four-year career with the Catamounts. He was inducted into the UVM Athletic Hall of Fame in 2003 in his first year of eligibility.

Miller played 14 seasons in the NHL with the Quebec Nordiques, Colorado Avalanche, Los Angeles Kings, and Vancouver Canucks. He won a silver medal with Team USA at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and earned a spot on the 2006 Olympic squad in Turin, Italy. He also represented the U.S. at the 2004 and 2005 IIHF World Championships.

This marks the 25th class to be inducted into the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame since its inception in 1991 and brings total membership to 291.
