FINAL SCORE: Vermont 2, Central Connecticut 1
BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Vermont Catamounts used two second half goals in the span of six minutes to post a 2-1 victory over Central Connecticut in men's soccer action on the second day of the Peter Baldwin Memorial Classic presented by Morgan Stanley and The Windjammer on Sunday.

CatamounTV HighlightsDespite holding a 7-2 advantage in shots in the first 45 minutes, the Catamounts and Blue Devils went into halftime knotted at 0-0.

Bernard Yeboah, who finished the day with six shots, finally found his scoring touch 13 minutes into the second stanza. A loose bouncing ball in the box was knocked in Yeboah's direction by teammate
Jackson Dayton. Yeboah finished off the scoring opportunity to put Vermont up 1-0. It was his first goal of the season.

In the 59th minute, Central Connecticut evened the score. Filosmar Cordeiro sent a low corner kick into the near post and Ryan Taylor flicked the ball past UVM goalkeeper
Greg Walton for his third goal of the year.

UVM responded 12 seconds later,
Stefan Lamanna carried the ball down the right wing, used a few step over moves to get past his defender and sent a pass along the goal mouth to teammate
Brian Wright for the tap in finish. Wright's second goal in as many games proved to be the game-winner.

Vermont finished the game out shooting Central Connecticut 25-4. Walton was credited with two stops in the Vermont net, while Nick Velleca made nine saves for the Blue Devils.

Vermont moves to 2-3-1 overall and finished second in the tournament. Central Connecticut fell to 1-3-0.

New Hampshire defeated UNC Asheville 2-0 in the first game of the day and took home first place in the tournament. UNH's Chris Wingate was named the tournament MVP.

Vermont returns to action on Saturday, September 19 when it hosts Marist at 1 p.m. The game will be streamed for free in HD via the America East Digital Network on AmericaEast.tv.
