BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Vermont Catamounts and Marist Red Foxes played to a scoreless tie at Virtue Field in non-conference women's soccer action on Tuesday.

UVM's best scoring chances came with five minutes left in the first overtime period. Marist goalkeeper Makala Foley made a diving stop on a shot by Jordyn Klapper from just inside the penalty box. Moments later, Foley made another impressive save on Vermont's Caitie Green from point blank range.
 
Foley finished the game with six saves, while Ally Ramos made seven stops in the Vermont net. UVM finished the game out shooting Marist 21-13.
 
Vermont moves to 2-4-1 overall, while Marist stands at 1-5-1.
 
The Catamounts return to action on Sunday when they travel to Kingston, Rhode Island for a 1 p.m. match at the University of Rhode Island.
