Hawkes Bay United is a semi-professional based club in Napier, New Zealand and plays in the Stirling Sports Premiership.
Walwyn anchored the UVM defense a year ago and earned America East All-Tournament Team honors as the Catamounts won their fourth conference championship in program history.
As a senior, he saw action in 19 games in the defensive unit and netted the game-winning goal in the season-opening victory at Sacred Heart. Later in the season, he added a goal at Dartmouth and handed out an assist at Hartford, helping to snap the Hawks' 16-game home unbeaten streak.
As a junior, he played in all 19 games for UVM and scored the game-winning goal against Appalachian State to help the Catamounts win the James Madison University Tournament.
In the classroom, Walwyn was named to the America East Academic Honor Roll in 2013, 2014, 2015, and the Commissioner's Honor Roll in 2012.
Walwyn becomes the 10th former Catamount to sign a professional contract.
