Alison Bolt added four points to lead the Vermont Catamounts to a 13-3 victory at Quinnipiac on Wednesday in non-conference women's lacrosse action.

The Catamounts jumped out to a 5-0 lead, behind goals from four different scorers, with 19:11 left in the first half. The Bobcats stopped UVM's rally with a goal off the stick of Aileen Carey, but UVM scored three of the next four goals to take an 8-2 lead at the break.
Vermont and Quinnipiac traded goals to start the second half, but the Catamounts closed the game scoring four consecutive times over the final 14 minutes to earn the win.
Alex Bernier added a hat trick for Vermont and Brynn Yarranton finished the game with a pair of goals and an assist. Carey led the Bobcats with two goals.
Maddy Kuras picked up the win in net, making eight saves for UVM. Kyle Larkin was credited with 10 stops for Quinnipiac.
Vermont dominated the draws, owning a 12-6 advantage, led by five from Yarranton, and out shot Quinnipiac 27-20 in the contest.
Vermont returns to action on Saturday (March 19) when it hosts Siena at 1 p.m. The game will mark UVM's first game at Virtue Field in nearly a month. The game will be streamed online for free at AmericaEast.tv.
