SCOUTING UMASS LOWELLUMass Lowell enters Wednesday's game with a 1-10 overall record and is 0-2 in America East, suffering losses to UMBC (16-5) and New Hampshire (16-3). The River Hawks lone win this season was a 12-8 victory over Siena.

Noelle Lambert leads the team in scoring with 18 points. Lambert is tied for the team lead in assists with Taylor Sokol, they each have six. Sokol has totaled 17 points this season. Kristina Keith leads the tam in goals (13) and has 14 points on the year.

Courtney Barrett is the leading goalkeeper for UMass Lowell. She has played nearly every minute in net and owns a 12.88 goals against average. She has made 118 stops and posts a .472 save percentage.

THE SERIESWednesday marks just the second meeting between the two schools. UMass Lowell is the newest member of the America East Conference and started playing competitively in women's lacrosse in 2015. In the first-ever meeting last season in Lowell, Massachusetts, UVM posted a 23-9 victory.

SCOUTING NEW HAMPSHIREThe Wildcats begin the week with a record of 5-6 overall and stand at 2-0 in league play. UNH has won two straight, UMass Lowell (16-3) and Binghamton (9-8), and three of its last four games.

Laura McHoul leads the team in scoring with 32 points on 10 goals and a team-high 22 assists. Nicole Grote ranks second with 29 points and Carly Wooters is third with 23 points, including a team-best 23 goals. Catherine Sexton is the reigning America East Rookie of the Week after helping the Wildcats come back from a 5-1 deficit to pull out a 9-8 win over Binghamton. She had two goals in the game.

Kate Clancy is the team's top goalkeeper playing all but 50 minutes this season. She has made 85 saves and owns a .438 save percentage and a 10.70 goals against average.

THE SERIESThe Wildcats own a 29-8 advantage in the all-time series that dates back to 1983. After winning 13 straight and 16 of the last 17 over the Catamounts, UNH has dropped five straight to UVM. Vermont pulled out a 12-10 win in Burlington last season.

WHO'S NEXTVermont has a 13-day layoff between games following Saturday's contest at New Hampshire. UVM closes out the regular season with three games in eight days. The Catamounts return to action on April 23 with a pair of road games at UMBC and versus Coastal Carolina (April 25) at Maryvale School in Lutherville, Maryland. UVM wraps up the regular season hosting Binghamton on April 30 at Virtue Field.
