AMERICA EAST FOOD FRENZY
In its second year, the America East Food Frenzy is a conference-wide community service initiative designed to promote cohesion between the league's member institutions while also providing significant donations to several charities in campus communities. The initiative is a competitive and collaborative food drive organized by the conference's Student-Athlete-Advisory Committee (SAAC). The food frenzy events will take place at one athletic contest on each of the league' nine campuses. In Friday's conference matchup, Vermont will donate one box of collected goods to Stony Brook, who can donate the item to a charity of its choice.

100-POINT CLUB
With a hat trick in last Wednesday's contest at Albany, Vermont senior midfielder Alison Bolt surpassed the 100-career point mark. The Tully, New York native became the 15th Catamount to accomplish the feat after netting 74 goals and handing out 31 assists in her UVM career.

LAST TIME OUT
Vermont matched Albany goal-for-goal in the first half, but the Cats could not stop a strong offensive attack by the Great Danes in the second half and suffered a 16-8 America East defeat last Wednesday. The Catamounts used a balanced scoring attack as five players recorded a goal. Bolt led UVM with a hat trick, scooped up three ground balls, and caused three turnovers. Meredith Moore scored two goals and handed out one of Vermont's five assists on the day. Jenna Janes contributed a goal and dished out two assists. Elena McWright and Bailey Saneman rounded out UVM's scoring with one goal each. Green made 10 saves in goal.

SCOUTING STONY BROOK
The Seawolves rank as one the top teams in this week's Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Coaches' Poll at No. 4, but Stony Brook is also one of the best statistical teams in the country. The Seawolves have taken down four ranked opponents this season – No. 19 Towson (W, 10-9), No. 12 Northwestern (W, 13-5), No 9. Southern California (W, 9-7) and No. 4 Colorado (10-6) before entering America East play. Stony Brook leads the nation in assists per game (10.23), sits third in caused turnovers per game (12.23), and owns the fourth-best scoring defense (7.31) and scoring margin (7.77). The Seawolves' offense has been primarily 'The Kylie Ohlmiller Show.' The junior has racked up 92 points this season on 45 goals and 47 assists - the Division I leader in points and assists. Earlier in the year, Ohlmiller became the first Stony Brook player to record 100 goals and 100 assists in a career. Anna Tesoriero has been a wall for the Seawolves in goal. Tesoriero holds the third-lowest goals-against average (7.31) and the 13th-best save percentage (.497) in Division I.

SERIES HISTORY
The last time a Vermont team took down a ranked opponent was back in 2014 which happened to be No. 15 Stony Brook. The Cats upset the 15th-ranked Seawolves with an 8-7 overtime victory. Stony Brook leads the all-time series 10-5, but three of UVM's victories have come on its home turf.
