MAKING A LIST, CHECKING IT TWICE
Senior midfielder
Meredith Moore is looking to climb up the single-season assists ladder before the end of the year. The senior has dished out 17 assists this season and she is one assist shy of moving into the top-10 on the program's single-season assists list. A year ago, Moore set a career high with 20 assists which sits in a sixth-place tie for the most assists in a single season.
100 TIMES BETTER
After
Alison Bolt surpassed the 100-career point plateau earlier this month at Albany, Moore also has her sights set on the century mark. The senior stands at 90 points with 47 goals and 43 assists in her career. Moore's 43 assists rank sixth on UVM's all-time career assists list.
LAST TIME OUT | Stony Brook Highlights
Despite a relatively close first half, the Catamounts could not pull off the upset over fourth-ranked Stony Brook last Friday afternoon with a 20-6 America East loss at Virtue Field. Janes and Bolt notched a pair of goals to lead the Catamounts.
Elena McWright and
Brynne Yarranton added one goal apiece for UVM. Little also contributed an assist for the green and gold. Goalie
Catherine Green set a new career-high with 20 saves.
SCOUTING UMASS LOWELL
After setting the program record for the most consecutive victories (6) earlier this season, the River Hawks have fallen into a rut with a six-game skid. Jane Dudley leads the way for UMass Lowell with 31 points on 15 goals and 16 assists. Dudley is coming off her third hat trick of the season in a tough loss at Brown on Wednesday. Rebecca Idson has netted 22 goals during her sophomore season to lead the team and her 22 scores has cracked into the top-20 among the conference's top scorers. In goal, Courtney Barrett sits second in America East with a .466 save percentage and the junior holds the third-lowest goals-against average at 10.08.
SERIES HISTORY
Sunday will mark the third overall meeting between the two programs as UVM holds a 2-0 record. The Catamounts have won both games by a +12.5-scoring margin. The series started in 2015 with a 23-9 victory for the green and gold and then Vermont recorded a 13-2 win last season in Burlington.
