COACH'S QUOTE
"Not every person ran a perfect race today, but both teams had perfect scores of 15. In a team sport like cross country, it is critical to have the depth that allows us to achieve success with different racers stepping up at key times," said head coach
Matt Belfield. "Today, Annemarie and Phoebe showed marked improvement to help us deal with some injury and illness of teammates. And I couldn't be more pleased to see Lauren and Samantha go 1-2 in their last home XC race. For the men,
Matt Hynes showed just how talented he is as he ran a supremely confident race from start to finish. Will looks sharp again and the men really challenged each other, with many getting course-best performances. We'll get a good ten days of training in and then some rest before the America East Championships. Both teams will be ready to lay it on the line for sure."
